Emily May is the Co-Founder of Right To Be, an NGO that works to fight against street harassment. When they initially started, they mapped the stories they saw and it seemed almost like an epidemic. What seemed to be good for people who were harassed was when somebody showed up and asked: Are you OK? This is how they designed the bystander intervention program 5Ds: delay, document, distract, direct, delegate. Today, they are cooperating with many governments including the one in the UK and also fight against all forms of harassment. See Right To Be https://righttobe.org
